I received my first Stitch Fix in April 2016. I loved everything I received and was surprised that everything I received fit so well! I was hooked and already could not wait for my second fix! One thing that I am beginning to love about Stitch Fix is that it really is customized just for me. Over the last month, I pinned things to my Stitch Fix Style Pinterest board and left a note for my second fix. In my note, I asked for more adventurous pieces with more color and pattern (my first fix was great but everything aside from the floral pants were pretty neutral). I also shared my love for all things floral and mentioned that I wear a lot of skirts and dresses in the summer and would love to see one in my next fix!
My box came a day early and I didn’t even realize it! It has been a crazy week so far. So crazy, that I received my box on Tuesday and didn’t get a chance to open it until late Wednesday evening! As soon as I saw the box, and noticed it was a little bigger than last time I had a feeling that there would be something exciting inside! I was right! I opened the box and found the bag I was secretly hoping was in it ~ shoes! It was the first thing I opened. I couldn’t have been more excited to find color and a wedge. The perfect pair. I had pinned these shoes to my Pinterest board recently and was excited to see that my awesome stylist Sherri, saw and took note!
- Calix Cork Wedge Heel
If I had anything negative to say about these, it is just that they are a half size too big. I recently learned that sometimes you are able to exchange items that are the wrong size. All you need to do is send the Stitch Fix customer service an e-mail. If they have the size you are looking for, they will exchange it for you! Sometimes they are not able to because they don’t have any extras but my fingers are crossed that they have these wedges in a size 8! I am not going to let a half size stop me though! I am keeping them regardless!
After the shoes, I opened the next package, 4 pieces of clothing! I immediately saw color and pattern and could not be more excited.
2. Irsia Scallop Trim Shell Blouse
3. Brandi Embroidered Skirt
The blouse is light and dainty and has beautiful scalloped edges. It ended up being my least favorite thing in the package but I think it was because it was the only thing without a pattern or bright color. It fit perfect and looked great with the skirt! The Brandi skirt was absolutely my favorite piece from this fix. I am obsessed with teal and my stylist didn’t even know it. This skirt fit me perfectly and had beautiful details! Check out a closer look below. The teal is actually embroidered in! Such an unexpected detail!
4. Kaleia Maxi Dress
Not only did I get a skirt in this fix like I requested but I also got a dress! I knew I was going to love this dress before I even put it on! I love that the neck is high on it. Even though it has thin straps, with the high neck it will be perfect for a day at work. It is a little bit long but I loved it so much I am going to hem it. Even more exciting than wearing it to work, it will be packed away in my suitcase when I head to Italy in 45 days!! I will be blogging for all 17 days I am there so be sure to follow my blog if you haven’t already! Mac even made a guest appearance!
5. Orane V-Neck Top
Here is my floral fix! This top is light and airy and has beautiful floral details! My stylist suggested pairing it with jeans and my new wedge heal! I love it!
Needless to say, I kept all 5 items again! My next fix is scheduled for August 10, 2016. I decided that 1 fix per season will be the perfect addition to my wardrobe!
Imagine all of the crazy, beautiful possibilities!
