This weekend was spent treasure hunting at estate sales and at home creating! I picked up some fun things this weekend at a few local estate sales; plastic totes, an awesome metal organizer that will go into my office and some smaller crafting supplies. I also had some time on Sunday to put some of my recent finds to use!
I recently posted about rescuing some Hens and Chicks from my moms front yard. I gave them a new home in the green pot I picked up last weekend! Vintage tins, and some fun Spring finds! Check it out below! I paired it with a Spring barn wood sign that I painted this week and a vintage napkin I picked up a few weeks ago!
Next up on this Spring Sunday was freshening up a few pots that I found in my moms basement. A little painters tape, a fun color and I gave a fresh new look to a few basic flower pots. They are pictured with a fun little garden box I picked up at my local TJ Maxx.
I visited a local nursery and picked up a few herbs to get started; cilantro, basil and oregano! I utilized one of my freshly painted pots, my fun garden box and a cute little Tea tin I picked up this weekend at a sale! Old tins are the perfect home for small plants – just make sure you poke a couple holes in the bottom for water to escape if need be. A few fresh plants were the perfect things to bring a little Spring into the new house! I am loving the color combos and I can’t wait to start using the herbs as they get a little older!
